CLEAN-COAT™ masonry units are manufactured with a special mix design to deliver a tighter face matrix. This provides an ideal unit for use in clean room environments (for specialized industrial production or scientific research), where a less porous face texture is required.
Smoothness is a crucial feature for clean room walls and other climate-controlled testing environments. A smoother surface is less likely to cause or facilitate air contamination.
