12/24/2021 – York Building Products is proud to continue to be a Partner in Education with Charlestown Elementary School in Cecil County, MD. We have been supporting the school for over 15 years with annual donations for purchases that included microscopes, security walkie-talkies, a large laminator, and programming supplies that are not supplied by the school systems. Several members of our team have also volunteered at their Career Days, Reading Days and “Principal for a Day” programs.
Shown is Principal George Whisner (front) with donated groceries ready to be delivered to fourteen of the neediest families at the school. Each family will receive enough food to have a complete Christmas dinner. Thanks to Sarah Colenda for helping coordinate and deliver this much-need effort.
