York Building Products has been developing special aggregate mixes for years. Our unique blend of sands gravel and stone has
produced a variety of mixes we see in our everyday lives. If you ever wondered how a golf-putting surface is made, you would
need to see the subsystem to understand how it works. The sub-system is made from a unique blend of sands and gravels to
produce the right environment to grow grass. That grass needs to be as healthy as possible to take the daily stress a golf
game can produce. York Building Products produces those key components that provide that environment.
York Building Products also produces a high quality bunker blend that has been used in many of the premier golf courses in the
region. The sand is a whitish, angular, well-graded blend that meets the industry's toughest standards. Other recreational
specialty products include components for baseball and softball infield mixes, pitchers mound and batters box clays, volleyball
sand and (hiking) trail mix.
Our line of specialty products also includes roofing ballast material white decorative stone and drainage sands and gravels and more.
We also work with outside concerns to develop the right size and shape aggregates that work for them and their applications.
