This masonry unit is manufactured to hold the steel vertically as well as horizontally by providing two splated vertical slots in the web of the block for the horizontal placement which in turn assists in the vertical placement of the bar. Special corner units are manufactured to make possible the acceptance of the horizontal corner bars. The 3000 PSI compressive strength unit is filled with a 3000 PSI concrete, all steel is held by the block in the exact position required by engineering design and code requirements.
